I was very satisfied with my rough double page spread. I changed the title for my next page spread and i think it looks much better. The font matches better with the sub title fonts, etc. The double page spread was one of my more time consuming projects but came out great!

My very first table of contents was very rough around the edges. It had zero to no effort put into it. The latest one i have made is very clean and not over done. I spent a good amount of time on making this clean and made sure all the letters and symbols were the same size. I included each pro sport leagues logo, etc. This helped people get better ideas on what the magazine cover is all about.
My Final magazine cover is very detailed, yet simple enough to not be overdone. I didn't change much compared to my other magazine cover. I only changed positioning of letters, etc. Slight changes that alter the appearance. I feel my final magazine cover is a good sport themed cover. It would look good on a sport magazine of the sorts.
In my magazine cover revision i put a lot more time into doing it and wasn't rushing. I made it clear what the magazine title is, and the content included. I wanted to make my revision include a limited edition type feel by including the NBA all star, Kobe Bryant. I based the colors used on his team and the png of him i used. I included a quote to appeal to people looking at the cover, as well as his sport numbers 8 and 24. In my 1st magazine cover i wasn't clear as to what it was about and everything was rushed. I used a different software that i wasn't familiar with. The color contrast is much better and overall my magazine revision is a much a better cover than before. I'll be doing a Top 10 wide receivers of the 2020-2021 NFL season. This will include the stats of the players, how their team used them, what they did to improve the teams they played on, and what we should expect of them in the future. I will be stating only facts, nothing else. The pages won't be very colorful but will still appeal to the readers, also photos of each player will be included in their article.
There are several media platforms nowadays like Tik Tok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Tinder, Etc. Each of these media platforms can sponsor someones product or a companies product. Famous people who wish to sell their designer products would try and find a app like Instagram to show an ad of the product to help produce more buyers for that person. This would bring in more money for both the app and person asking for the sponsorship. Businesses could be asking Facebook to sponsor their new water bottle and if Facebook accepts then that business would be giving money to Facebook and the business would also make money from the people who see it on Facebook. Both of these companies would be benefiting but this can also cause problems with the business or people who own the product. Michael Vik (an american football player) was sponsored by NikeFlex and many other sport major companies. Vik made a major mistake and ended up losing all his sponsors and was forced to file for chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2011. This show that your sponsors could cause major problems and that not all of it is going to beneficial. Vik had a net worth of over 5 million dollars and lost nearly all of it. Since then he has gained 15 million back from sponsors and is now comfortable again. Sponsorships prove to be both good and could be bad if not used correctly. Your business could go bankrupt because some disagrees with another causing problems with the sponsor of your product. Sponsors and Media issues are major and any mistake can cause major problems.

Intertextuality is when one text makes a reference to another text, this may either be directly or indirectly. Three types are obligatory, optional, and accidental. Obligatory is when the author deliberately invokes a comparison between two text. Optional is when there's a possibility for there to be a reference but it isn't very direct. Accidental is when it make a connection without it being direct.
Obligatory ex: Bart and Homer compared as son and dad. Another would be in Naruto when he turns into a fox. Finally, in Moby Dick it would be them comparing the whale to the ship. |
