1. Perfectly placing cuts so the audience doesn't notice.
2. Must be able to improve a scene to what the producer wants. 3. Must have almost no flaws. One editing flaw can ruin the scene. In the Sopranos film the first thing shown is the introduction with their theme song. The theme song seems produced by the people who made the film, making it original. The soundtrack helps make a mood and tone in the video. The use of simple dialogue helped understand what was happening through most of the video.
The video was first about how the Facebook algorithm works. She talks about how we have been using technology since cavemen days, etc. She talks about how the market leeches money off of social media apps from us and why. The market works off of our profiles and how our identities bring them success. Social media has influenced in a quite a lot of ways. One being that i can get easily influenced into downloading an app of some sort, or seeing a speech and it influences me to be better. I've also seen social media post that influence me to buy a product shown and waste my money. Many times have i been influenced by social media post, app, ads, etc.
I do agree with everything said in the video. I have been influenced, as well as friends of mine. Being influenced from social media is such an easy thing you don't realize. My friends and family have spending money because of social media for a long time. The "Big guy" in video games media would be the major companies such as Epic games, Ubisoft, Activison, etc. They're considered the main companies that release the most internet breaking games yearly. Their games are produced throughout the world for all to enjoy.
The "Little guy" in video games would be considered the small creators who create small games that usually don't get a lot of recognition. The creator, Pewdiepie, made a small game for his fans to play and it only got a few thousand downloads, unlike major companies. Major companies release their games by making trailers and leaving easter eggs in their past games. Usually the games are released a year or so after their last release. Many companies have only a few games but thrived. The creator, Pewdiepie, produced his app using a small software and it was only released for a few months before it was taken down for it fail. The use of ads on videos is the best way that companies show a game to fans. The premiere limited edition ads to create a "hype" around the game. Both the "Big guy" and "Little guy" do the same. The big guy can create more profit by released their game globally. This allows more players to get into it. A disadvantage would be the amount they have to spend to make the game perfect and not worry about losing money. Small creators (Little guy) release their games globally to help bring viewers and subscribers to their channels. They put a lot of money into these apps but the amount of views they receive from it is positive. Video Games- Video games are a big part of today's daily life for many people. Some use video games as a gate way to get out of all the drama and stress. Video games can be considered an escape from reality every now and then. Video games have always been fun to me but i never used them to get away from any type of drama. People love watching entertainers play video games. Big content creators, such as Dream, who is a streamer and faceless gamer, entertains millions of viewers. If you check the comment sections of his videos there's a lot of positivity and people claimed that watching him helped them. Video games create most of the famous trends nowadays, as well as Tik Tok. During this pandemic many games have sky rocketed in the amount of people who play it. For example, Hyperscape, Among us, etc. These games have created trends that lasted only a few months until a new game or big update releases. The players of these games usually all move on to same game to have the most fun. Streamers usually stream the game that is the biggest out at the time so they can attract the most views. Video games have become a major part of today's society and will continue to grow more and more.
During this project my skills in production have greatly improved. I've learned a lot more about what appeals to readers, how to produce my product globally, and what i need for a successful magazine. We've learned a lot about production since the beginning of the year and i plan to use what i've learned to create the best magazine. It will be much more appealing then my rough draft and it won't look like it took 2 seconds. I've learned many new aspects which i didn't know before, such as the creation of magazines and how they appeal to readers. I'll take this into consideration and make sure it is good and new.
My production skills have improved greatly. I now can see minor details that i can add to make my magazine much better than before, as well as the connections to readers. I've realized exactly what i want to do and how i want to do it. Details that could include color aspects, mini paragraphs that express fun facts, or even small drawings to help get an idea as to what is said on the certain page. I've found ways to improve my magazine cover since our last magazine cover rough draft. My last draft was very rough, was not pleasant to the eye, nor would it have caught anyone's eyes. Well maybe they would see how bad of a cover it was and judge it, but other than that the cover was overall bad. I'm much more confident in how my magazine will turn out and how it will be graded. I feel like i have most the information on what makes a magazine good. Overall i know my production skills have improved drastically since last time we did our rough draft.
My product will have a very cool, eye catching cover that'll gather the audiences attention. It will also be filled with helpful information that can help people know more and make money somehow. Fantasy league is where you put a certain bet on player on how good they will play in an upcoming game. My magazine will engage with readers by including info on how that player has been playing and this will bring in weekly customers. By using a sport program of some sort to broadcast an ad of the product across the world. They will then be handed out to local stores and big malls that usually bring many customers. This will then lead to people searching for my product and buying it. The money it would take to print all the sheets of paper is a very large amount, i would need trustworthy sponsors to lend money while i promote their organization. Then using magazine retailers to broadly sell my magazine about sports in bars , etc.
My magazine challenges conventions in many ways. The production of the magazine is already a challenge. Sport magazines are spread around the world for many different sports such as Football, American Football, Soccer (Called football in almost every country except the U.S. Many people have different opinions of sports and usually lead to long discussions on who's the best team in a sport, why a coach should be fired, or even if a player should be eligible to play. Many conflicts come from peoples opinions in sports. My magazine would be very non-biased so less conflicts come out of it and it would only address facts and stats. I plan to not address anything that could upset people's opinion. Most magazines have some sort of biased information in articles, magazines, any form of social media. This leads to more conflicts then we want.Paragraph two-
My magazine represents everything there is to know about sports. Whether it's the most recent games, players being let go, etc. This could bring people together in all types of ways. Though it would be expensive to mass produce such a magazine. If it was to go worldwide it would need help from medias to help get its reputation up, Many people would have to like what i write about and give reviews. My magazine will address all there is to know in the sport world. Roughly 4 billion people around the world like sports or play sports. This number would be who would enjoy a sport article. Many take sports to the point where if someone is bias towards a team it leads to fights. My magazine will make sure none of the sort happens or at least help prevent such issues. |

CategoriesThis article seems very technology based considering Elon Musk is on the cover. People who are likely to read this are those interested in technology advancements. The articles in this magazine seem to contain info on technology written by Elon Musk (found of tesla).
Intertextuality is when one text makes a reference to another text, this may either be directly or indirectly. Three types are obligatory, optional, and accidental. Obligatory is when the author deliberately invokes a comparison between two text. Optional is when there's a possibility for there to be a reference but it isn't very direct. Accidental is when it make a connection without it being direct.
Obligatory ex: Bart and Homer compared as son and dad. Another would be in Naruto when he turns into a fox. Finally, in Moby Dick it would be them comparing the whale to the ship. |
